Meet our Staff & Volunteers

Pamela Stickler

President

As Founder of The RECing Crew, Pam has been actively involved since 2002 with her son who is an active participant of The RECing Crew. She also actively volunteers in the community with the Adaptive Program Committee with the Family Y, GRU Family Faculty, North Augusta Project Lifesaver, North Augusta Service Network, and Tri-Development Center Foundation. Pam has been the recipient of the WJBF – Giving Your Best Award 2008; WRDW – Time to Care and the 2013 North Augusta Citizen of the Year

Joanna Smith

North Augusta & Georgia Program Coordinator

With over 20 years of business administration/clerical experience and over 15 years of food and beverage experience, Joanna joined our staff in 2010. She oversees the development of programming in North Augusta and Georgia, coordinates all of our Cruiser events, and single-handedly runs the AlleyCats program.

Terra Shepherd

Art Coordinator

As a Licensed and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with 20 years of experience in human services she has a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others. As the Art Coordinator for the ART-ability Studio, Terra selects and plans art projects so those participating can express themselves through art.

Marie Brooks

Music Coordinator

With a degree in Elementary Education/Deaf Education and a Sign Language interpreter, Marie selects songs and works directly with our members so they can express themselves through instruments, signing and sign language as the Music Coordinator for the ART-ability Studio. She also directs them at all community performances with our Crew Chorus.

Amy Weeks

Team Mom & Aiken Advocate

A parent of 2 members of The RECing Crew she is the Aiken T-RecS Team Mom and is an Advocate for our programs in the City of Aiken. She is active on the Program Committee and has a passion to volunteer as needed with all the programs with The RECing Crew.

Kathy Haupfear

Team Mom & Advocate

As a parent of a member of The RECing Crew, Kathy assists us with the North Augusta AlleyCats, our North Augusta Office, and volunteers with many additional programs. She is active on the Program Committee and has a passion for volunteering wherever needed with The RECing Crew.

Rose Mary Bradley

Ballet Tout le Monde

A parent of a member of The RECing Crew, Rose Mary assists the staff of Ballet Tout le Monde and distributes information on upcoming events to the families in Georgia.

Elsa Rodriguez

Miracle League, Team Mom

A parent of a member of The RECing Crew, Elsa assists our coaches with our Miracle League players during the games as our Team Mom.

A parent of a member of The RECing Crew, Zell is our North Augusta T-RecS Team Mom assisting our coaches and players.

T-RecS Coaches (Baseball & Basketball)

Pat, Don, Jordan, John, Jeff, Mark, Manuel, and Leslie have coached many youth basketball and baseball programs within our community. Their love for the games and coaching has brought them to The RECing Crew to volunteer their Saturday mornings coaching our T-RecS programs and Miracle League Team.

Loralee Kokovich

Jazzercise

A Franchise Owner and Certified Instructor since 1988, Loralee leads Jazzercise to The RECing Crew, Elementary School Children, Adults and Seniors. The music and choreography is what makes the program so special and gives everyone a good feeling in a fun atmosphere. Loralee says, “The RECing Crew are especially close to my heart, and I thoroughly enjoy being with them.”

Lindsay Southwell

Ballet Tout le Monde, Ballet Instructor

Ballet Tout le Monde, which means ‘Ballet for Everyone’, began in 2013 at the Columbia County School of Ballet and is under the instruction of Lindsay Southwell. Lindsay is a classically trained ballet teacher, with 17 years of instructing both children and adults. She has a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and currently is also employed with the Columbia County Schools, and CSRA Therapy Services, Inc.

Rachel Griffin

North Augusta School of Dance, Owner and Instructor

Our North Augusta Tap began in 2014 and Introduction to Dance in 2016; both are under the direction of Rachel Griffin who is the owner of North Augusta School of Dance. Rachel has been dancing for as long as she can remember. She started assisting with classes at the age of 14 and went on to teach her own classes at only 15 years old! She was awarded the WRDW News 12 Time to Care Award in May 2016 for her leadership in the community. In addition, Rachel locally works with athletic teams, theaters, daycare programs and donates her time to non-profit organizations in the area.

Pam Wooten

Center Stage Dance Academy, Owner and Instructor

RECing Crew Groove began in 2016 under the direction of Pam Wooten, the owner of Center Stage Dance Academy. Pam began dancing at the age of 11 and has been teaching ever since. She has studied tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, clogging, hip-hop and lyrical with her specialties being tap and clogging. Pam has won numerous awards for her performances, routines and several choreography awards for her dances. Pam participated in the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and took several of her dancers to participate in the 2004 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

Morgan Nicole Welch

Dream Dance Academy, Owners and Instructor

Jazz Funk Dance began in the spring of 2017 under the direction of Morgan Nicole Welch as owner of Dream Dance Academy. Nicole has been dancing all her life and opened her dance studio at the age of 19 while completing her training in 2013 with Dance Masters of America, becoming a certified dance instructor and then graduating from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2014. She has danced with the USCA Pacers dance team, performed in Footloose with the Aiken Community Playhouse and has choreographed the following productions:  Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, Romeo and Juliet, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Mark Greubel

Greubel’s Mixed Martial Arts, Owner and Instructor

Greubel’s Mix Martial Art program began in February of 2018 under the direction of Mark Greubel, the owner of Greubel’s MMA for the past 12 years. An Augusta native, father of 3 and coach of Team USA Kickboxing, Mark has volunteered as a boxing coach for 6 years with the Augusta Boxing Club and helped coach addicts in recovery for 1 year at The Discovery House in Atlanta. This program builds Self-Confidence, Self-Discipline, Self-Awareness and Self-Respect while improving hand and eye coordination. Have FUN working out with your friends!

Andy Watford

Watford School of Karate, Owner and Instructor

Watford School of Karate, owned and operated by Andy Watford, has been teaching students the martial arts for over 30 years. Watford School of Karate offers karate and self-defense classes for all ages and skill levels. Self-Defense is a vital skill for anyone to learn. It will instill confidence, boost self-esteem, and enhance safety.

Next Level Fitness and Boxing gives everyone from beginner to professional level a place to participate in the great sport of boxing. From young children to adults they are equipped to get the best out of their athletes at any age.
